About Us
The Triple D Ranch is a family owned and operated business founded in 1956, by Edward Dietrich and his 2 sons Bud Detrick & Raymond Dietrich, along with 3 Daughters Sis , Frances, and Alma Thus the Triple "D" Ranch was born. Back in the early days of Triple D Ranch most of the activities took place in their three story barn. The floor level held the horses. The second level held the hay. The Third level held a very unique dance floor for their local bands and square dancing. They polished the dance floor so well you could see your reflection!! Triple D also leased horses for rides
And did carriage rides along with other events around the Roscommon/Houghton Lake area.

The Triple D barn caught fire leaving them on a stand still. Over the years the horses became to much of a liability for the farm to handle, leaving the name Triple D to fade out. In 2004 Chris DeBaeke graduated high school and decided to move up to the Triple D property. In knowing the history of the ranch, he decided to bring back the family dream. Chris started out with bull ridding and bucking bulls for local rodeos to lease, while working for the Super Kicker Rodeo. In 2009 Chris married his wife Kayla DeBaeke (Martinson).
Since 2009 Chris and Kayla have been working toward engaging our youth and building partnerships throughout our community, so that this great rodeo tradition can be carried out on to future generations. In 2013 the first Triple D Ranch & Rodeo bulls rodeo was held on the property. Since 2013 we brought back the Carriage Rides too . We now offer several different things on the farm like Rodeos, speed shows , Carriage Rides ,Sleigh Rides , weddings , Finerals , Festivals ,Parades , Along with special events. This is a tradition that we hope to have for many years to come. We here at Triple D invite you to come on out and help us keep this tradition alive.
